Client Connect Team

Volunteer once or twice a month at our Client Care Days, where families can shop at no cost for early infancy items. Preferred commitment: 6 times per 1 year. 1-time college, corporate, or community groups also welcome.  Client Care Days occur each 2nd Saturday of month [Volunteers 9:15am-12:15pm, or 9am Set-Up] and the Wednesday following [Volunteers 12:30pm-4:00pm]. For a better idea of what this day looks like, watch our training video online!

Community Connector

Be a liaison for MCEC in the community. Coordinate with the faith community in distributing baby bottles to a congregation, parish, or otherwise for 3-weeks (or at an event/agreed upon time) filling with donations & returning to MCEC. Reach out to local businesses to host a Bottle Bank at their front desk.  Love speaking? There may be opportunities for this too.

Educators / Community Resources

Applicable education, licensures, etc required. Inquire on teaching a class or sharing information at a Client Care Day - great for organizations and businesses working with a similar demographic..

Event Specialist

Love planning, graphic design, decor, social media, videography, or connecting with local businesses? Join our team of Event Specialists in planning MCEC's Silent Auction, 5k Run/Walk, Pop-Up Dinner, Holiday Cheer & Cheese, & More!

Garden Guru

Enjoy small space gardening, exterior clean up, pulling weeds or trimming back bushes? Maybe even a little front porch or back lot sweeping? You're the guru we're looking for!

Partner with moms during pregnancy and parents during early infancy [prenatal to 5 years] through connection, education, & support. Parenting experience a plus, but not necessary! Speak a second language? Bonus! Educational Background or Experience Required. Volunteer 1+ days (minimum of 4 hours), weekly, to join the Partner4Parents team. Skills may include: quiet conversation, trauma awareness, empathy, follow up calls, connecting parents to supplies and local resources, working with at-risk populations, understanding other cultures. Training provided.

Monetary sponsorships help cover the cost of an event, while donation items for a raffle, Giving Tuesday, silent auction, pop-up dinner, etc allow donors to give money and receive a gift on your behalf.  Have your company name displayed to families at a Client Care Day or publish it in our auction marketing materials to connect with donors.  We work with companies to create a sponsorship that best promotes them, while supporting the parents and children in our community.
