We need your help.
Parenting is hard enough. Parenting without basic necessities is much harder.
Donations can be made in many ways. We take in new or gently used clothing, un-opened diapers and formula, plus valid car seats, toys, books, strollers and many other things new families might need.
You can make a monetary contribution through PayPal. Or, you can write us a check to support the free services at Mother & Child.
Donation hours are by appointment only, Monday-Friday. Please call 503-249-5801 to set up an appointment and to see if we are accepting the specific items you want to donate. We are a small organization with limited space and cannot accept all donations. Donations are limited to no more than 3 grocery-sized bags of supplies. Because of our constantly shifting needs, we may need to postpone receiving certain items.
Quality donations appreciated: We accept clean and working donations from a smoke-free household. We ask that items are clean, fully functional, and include all parts. Please be sure all items are washed and clean before donating. Please bring donations in paper bags with handles or bins that can be emptied.
You can help us reduce expenses by allowing us to decline items that we cannot give out. Mother & Child asks that you are patient with us if we are unable to accept your items.

Parent/baby hygiene and baby wipes
Maternity clothing (sizes large and up are our greatest need)
Women’s bras and new underwear
Nursing dresses/tanks/tops (sizes large and up are our greatest need)
Seasonally appropriate preemie/newborn/toddler size clothing
Diapers and pull-up—sizes newborn, 4, 5, 6
Current parenting and children’s books
Toddler training underwear
Baby carriers
Toddler car seats (not expired, have not been in a wreck, very clean)
Strollers and snap-n-gos
Reusable bags
Hand soap, dish soap, detergent
Unopened, unexpired formula
Unused bottles
Paper bags
