Our general volunteer tasks include helping with organizing donations, bundling baby clothes, diapers and wipes, and upkeep and gardening tasks.

If you are a business owner, have a craft, timeshare, or other item to donate, we are always looking for sponsorships/donations! 

We work to create a sponsorship that best promotes your business, while supporting parents and children in our community. Email us at info@momchildpdx.org if you are interested.

Internships

Apply to complete an internship with us by emailing an Intern Application to us at info@momchildpdx.org with cover letter and resume. Speak a second language? Bonus! Skills may include: quiet conversation, trauma awareness, empathy, follow-up calls, connecting parents to supplies and local resources, working with at-risk populations, understanding other cultures. Training provided. Graphic/web/photo/videography projects also available.

Become a community connector

Coordinate a “Campaign for Change” for your faith community, community group, class, or business by distributing sippy cups to individuals to take home to fill with donations. Groups typically fill bottles with donations for 3-weeks, while an event or business “host” a larger bottle at the reception/checkout/desk. Group leads return bottles to Mother & Child at an agreed upon time. Email us at info@momchildpdx.org.
